Description
This striking typographic image is created by Manchester based designer Frederick John. The slogan 'Remember your humanity, and forget the rest' refers to the Russell-Einstein manifesto issued in the midst of the Cold War. It highlighted the dangers posed by nuclear weapons and called for world leaders to seek peaceful resolutions to international conflict. Combined with the bold blue and yellow colours of the Ukrainian flag, this piece has been created to help all those people who are fleeing conflict in Ukraine, in the spirit of peace and support from the city of Manchester.
The DEC charity are working hard to provide aid to refugees from Ukraine, providing those fleeing the conflict with essential shelter, food, water and medical supplies. Over 3 million people have fled their home already, leaving everything behind so the support from the DEC is invaluable.
